A control setting is absent i.e. there is no assignable axis for rudder trim. This is of benefit for fine tuning in warbirds in particular. Additionally, there are two confusing digital rudder trim settings: ‘Set Rudder Trim’ and ‘Rudder Trim Set’.

Is that setting for FS2020 could also achieve what you are looking for FS2024 ?:

I’m afraid not. The solution was to buy a piece of software, rather than there being an inherent axis for sliders or wheels as is at this time only available for elevator trim. Perhaps this is better described as a workaround, and the lack of assignable axis a shortcoming in FS 2024 rather than a bug. Nonetheless, the two (digital) settings look like an oversight.
