No Community folder aircraft showing

I had a problem with the sim not even loading up after the latest sim update and ended up having to reinstall windows to get it working again.

However, I can no longer see any third party aircraft or liveries if they are in my Community folder. I have tried both the default location of the Community folder and the other location I had all my addons: C:/MSFS/Community

Aircraft purchased within the marketplace appear and work fine, as does scenery in the Community folder, just not aircraft or liveries.

Currently running the latest version of the sim with the Nordic update.

I’m having the same issue with no aircraft showing up in the sim

Are you sure you are putting them in the correct Community folder? I recently deleted and reinstalled MSFS to move it to a different drive and I have two Community folders. Addons only work if I put them in the correct one.

Yes if I a folder in one community folder they will automatically show up in the other One is in the c drive and the other is in the d

Look for UserCfg.opt - the last line in that file will point to where the sim believes the Community folder is located.

I looked in the developer mode and got into tools and it is coming from the c drive if shows up in the content manager but it does not show up in the hangar

Try and remove all other mods except say one airplane. Does it work and appear correctly in the hangar then?

Yes I have a real sim gear GNS 530 it shows up and works as should but nothing else like the just flight Cherokee

You mentioned earlier you have Community folders in both C and D? Are you using AddOn-Linker?

I’m not using anything other than what was installed by the flight simulator 2020

Did you remove everything including the 530 and just try one plane? Usually planes not showing up means there’s another mod stepping on them.

No I haven’t tried that yet but I will try and give a update fingers crossed that it works

When I did my install, I wanted the community folder to be on the external drive (M: in my case) and there is a Community folder in C: and in M:. I have to put addons in the M:\Community folder for them to show up in the sim properly.

Yes they are in both and still no joy

So I did try getting rid of all files in the community folder except for the piper arrow and it’s not working

Um - is the Warrior 2 available for MSFS? I thought it’s still in development?

No it’s the 3 but I did finally figured it out
The problem was that I’m an idiot and didn’t realize that where the new file would be downloading to so I’ve been trying to add an old file so when I did the reinstall I finally paid attention to where it was installing it and I grabbed that package and put it in my community folder and now it works
