In the long term if Asobo show no interest in sorting out what they broke, some sort of override may be necessary. Like you, I am still hoping they will sort out the issue though.

It was working till SU5, seems they have broken the lagacy FSX Code with the performance changes

and they do not know how to say: “we have broken something for which you have paid”?
