No external lights on air traffic at night - Xbox - 1.6.13 SU4 beta

Since the last update, I have noticed zero air traffic at night on Xbox. I can see traffic on the EFB, and can sometimes hear ATC talking to other traffic, but never actually see it myself.

Im not sure if it is a problem with the aircraft lights, or if the aircraft just aren’t rendering at all.

I’ve been flying mainly around the UK / Europe in default Airbuses and the PMDG 777. During one of the 777 flights air traffic was suddenly visible but it disappeared again after 20-30 minutes.

Traffic does spawn at airports, just not in the sky. I have been flying with Real-Time traffic on. I did experiment with AI traffic instead but it didnt make any difference.

Apologies if this has already been reported, I did try to search but couldn’t find anything. Mods, please delete if so

Have you tried clearing rolling cache and fully restarting xbox? I have to do this between every flight to have a smooth and trouble-free experience.

I have, yes. I usually clear my cache every couple of days and will give the xbox a restart before any flight.

Interesting. Does the problem occur in career mode as well?

I only ever use Free Flight so not sure. Will maybe try a Career Mode Flight later and see what happens.

The latest update seems to have fixed this. I’ve got traffic, complete with lights and contrails. Beautiful.
