ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

There are no menus (Start Flight or go back to menu etc if you press escape) in VR Mode, or at least the menus are not in sight.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Every Time I start a flight in VR mode

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Main menu. Start a free flight in VR

  2. Flight is loading

  3. You can not press start a flight because no button is there. Also there is no menu if you press esc.

What VR headset and peripherals are you using:

Pimax Crystal

The workaround is to start the flight in 2D, then after you press Ready to Fly, toggle VR.

just go back to 2D to click fly for now and then back to VR.

You should probably upvote your own bug report as well.

I have this too on Quest 3.
Also found that the ESC key not longer works at times too.

Didn’t experience this on my side. QPro with both VD and Steam link and both VDXR and SteamVR OXR runtimes.

BTW, same CPU and GPU as OP

Description of the issue: READY TO FLY button isn’t available in VR when in Free Flight section. It is available by exiting VR, clicking on READY TO FLY and then re-entering VR

So far, this has occurred each time I launch a flight in Free Flight

What VR headset and peripherals are you using: No mods. Pimax Crystal Light with Thrustmaster Hotas Stick and Throttle, and Orion Rudder Pedals.

Same issue. I just created a similar report that I’ll try to delete. The title here indicated “in game menus” and OP may wish to indicate it is related to the READY TO FLY button.

Thanks for the hint. Well as it´s not only an issue with the ready to fly button at least in my case the mods should decide if we merge the posts. Either way is ok for me as the most important thing is that devs get a knowledge of this.

Same issues, HP Reverb G2.

I’ve made sure all my UI related mods were disabled.

Sadly loading into VR, going into 2d, then back to VR results in terrible performance. Even loading in 2D and going into VR is about as bad.

VR is basically UNFLYABLE in SU6 beta!

Sometimes I can not enter (ctrl+tab) into VR when the plane is loaded in 2D. The desktop will show the plane cockpit in 2D but black in the headset. Instead I have to go to the settings menu, enter VR from there, and then escape out to the plane sitting on the runway and then it will load me into the VR cockpit when I click resume

Same issue using Pimax Crystal Light device, workaround by starting in 2D and switching to 3D is a workaround
