OK I’m wondering if anyone can confirm for me that there are no jetways at the default PANC in 2024?
After having updated to SU5, I just did my second flight from PAFA Fairbanks, where there were jetways, to Ted Stevens PANC Anchorage, where there were none. I have flown there in the past, but I believe it may have been on 2020, and there could have been jetways added there as I had the GSX jetways enabled. As we know, there are no added jetways in GSX for 2024 at this time, so that might be the answer, but I was thrown for a bit after landing and seeing no jetways, and I just want to confirm that I’m not going nuts (or maybe I am; who knows?)
As PANC is something of a major airport, one would think that jetways would be on the scenery there. If not, I guess I’ll need to look into the third-party option.
Hey thanks so much for taking the time to answer and post the photo.
I have no jetways whatsoever in 2024, although I do have them in 2020. I wonder if I have a setting that’s wrong, or perhaps an add-on that’s interfering?
UPDATE: I just disabled my everything in my Community folder, and the jetways are back now, so at least now I know I’m not cracking up (at least because of this). Now it’s on to figure out what’s causing this behavior.
Again, thanks for your help!
UPDATE 2: OK I found it; there was a nice little add-on that I had downloaded from flightsim.to that enhanced the surrounding cargo buildings and area around PANC that was designed for 2020 that worked nicely on that platform when I was using it, but apparently does not like to play well with 2024. I just uninstalled it, and all is well once again.
Sorry to bother everyone; go back about your business….
What is this nice little add-on? I have the same problem with Ted Stevens. I’m using a scenery from flightsin.to and I have zero jetways. I do have GSX installed.
