No joy stick settings

in the controls menu it shows the keyboard and mouse but there is no place for the joy stick to be mapped. It has the sliders for keyboard aand mouse and thats it . how do I get the joy stick slider to come up? with out it I can’t fly.

  1. What joystick do you have?

  2. The top bar with the devices listed (keyboard, mouse etc) can scroll left and right. It may be that your joystick just is “off screen” and you need to scroll right to see it.

  3. Is your joystick detected in windows? (Windows USB controllers config?) Have you tried checking with DIView? If DIView can see your joystick then the game ought to also.

I have the PXN 2113 I have the driver insalled for it. the top bar doen 't scroll left or right, it has the arrows to scroll with but they do nothing. Only keyboard and mouse nothing else.
I looked in printers and devices and it doesn’t show up there.
thank you

Then it’s not an MSFS issue.
I don’t know that joystick, so my first suggestion is to check for the newest driver for it and make sure it’s properly installed, in case you haven’t.

You could also try another USB port.

Looks like a knockoff Logitech 3D Pro with some added rumble functionality . Reading the amazon page for it sounds like it doesn’t work at all without their drivers installed which is weird for a joystick so make sure you get those.

Search for joy.cpl in the windows start menu. That’s the easiest way to see if it’s installed and working properly. If it’s not showing up there than there’s no way that it’s going to work in game.

I sent the stick back and ordered the logitech 3d. the pxn came with a disk but I couldn’t insstall it because it had some Chinese in the name and the computer didn’t recognize it. then i got the driver frome the web site and it installed ok but didn’t work either.
