No more CTDs with code 0xc0000005 after some changes

Hi,
I have had CTD almost every second flight with 0xc0000005 error in event log, even after Windows 11 fresh install, etc.

I have tried 2 things and now I have no CTDs at all:

  1. I stopped using custom MSFS profile settings in NVIDIA Control Panel and have everything set to default (drivers uninstalled using DDU and installed once again). Previously I had some own settings for MSFS profile.
  2. I uninstalled all FS2Crew apps (Command Center, RAAS, Pushback Express).

I don’t know which one was causing CTDs (don’t have much time to run some tests) but it’s succesfull to me so just letting you know, because many MSFS users have 0xc0000005 CTDs.

[If wrong subforum → please move my post]

Cheers.

I have exactly the same problem. It got to the point that I bought a completely new PC, but the problem has not yet been resolved.

I just purchased MSFS2020 and I have a basic 2GB download which never launches. I can’t even get into the game. I just filed a bug report on MS Zendesk.
My error is a bit different but seriously, this is pathetic! If it is this buggy (and I am a former helpdesk employee with 21 years of experience), what’s the point?
Also, it WILL NOT install on my Samsung EVO 970 Nvme drive which works just fine. Something about Samsung requiring new firmware but on the newer 980 and 990 drives, but this drive doesn’t have any more firmware updates available; it has the latest firmware. So I had to install it on a std. SSD drive.
I already disabled Corsair iCUE, uninstalled/reinstalled MS gaming services, selected US English to be sure, in language settings - all from the MS Knowledgebase.
I have X-Plane and have no issues even remotely similar to this; X-Plane works flawlessly on the same hardware.
Here is my Event Viewer error details FYI:
