No rhinos or hippos are displayed in the scenery. My community folder is empty! The rhino should be at the nakuru lake. As you can see in the detached picture, theres no rhino although the POI is dsplayed
As I just find out, it seems that there are no animals at all after the update. I have no Idea why?
And it seems to be that there are no POI’s shown during the flight.
I am having similar problems. Sometimes the animals are there, but you have to be within 1/2 mile to see them and there are no POI markers. Other times, a POI marker displays a spot, but there are no animals. All of this started after the large update on July 27th. Microsoft, please fix this problem.
I don’t find any animals yet and give up trying it until the next update. It’s weird to release an update and announce that their will be rhinos and hippos and instead their will be no animals at all. Nice work 
There are definitely Rhinos in at least one spot (screenshot below made with SU5), but I couldn’t find any hippos either.
I’m currently en route to the 3rd and northernmost hippo location, the other two were a bust.

Okay, the 3rd location is a winner. We at least got some hippos in one location and the animations are awesome!
I found Lake Chad and Nsefu Hippos and Kwanmiya Rhinos, but no others. You have to be very close (within 1/2 mile) to see these. Much more difficult to find than the Elephants and Giraffes and the movement is not nearly as good.
