No sea traffic in career mode

Description of the issue:
There is no sea traffic in career mode missions. Flying the same area in free flight and ships are there.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
Never had any / Yes

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
In ~100hrs of career mode I’ve not seen sea traffic ever

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
Launch career mode and sea traffic is gone. Fly in free flight in the same area and its there (same as air traffic but there is already a post regarding that being missing)

• As OP says, ships are present in free flight, but not in career mode.

Same never seen any traffic in career mode everything enabled but nothing showing. I can hear ATC talking to other traffic but don’t see them.
I’m level 112 now countless of missions done and not a single airplane/heli or boat seen.
There’s only airplanes and heli’s parked at airfields but that’s it.

Same issue, no traffic at all in career, air or sea.

This topic needs more visibility. MS sold us on ship traffic. Unlike air traffic, ships cannot disturb missions.

Same, I really miss the ships and live airtraffic

Bumping for visibility and to confirm that I have not seen any ship traffic on my side after 100 flight hours in career

I do have air traffic, but I need to toggle the traffic on each time I load the sim as it defaults to off on each load

Please address this

1 tag is required - add them in the tag section next to the title above:

  • One for platform (ms-store, steam, xbox , or xcloud)

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Load any mission that takes you over water around a busy port, sea traffic will not spawn

  2. Load the same location in free flight, and you’ll see that sea traffic works normally

  3. Tested using several mission types

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share?

13700k, using the “Ultra” preset with live traffic ON, air traffic works normally during career missions

I think sea traffic in general is much better then it was at launch, with major ports filling in with static and moving ships, ships still disappear when flying far away which makes 34k over a ocean less interesting since they don’t spawn at all, but that’s besides the point of this post

Sea traffic doesn’t work at all during career, which is a bummer

Marine traffic still doesn’t spawn during career missions as of SU4 full release + PS5 port

Figured it would be resolved as we have so many new console players likely playing career mode who are missing out on this type of immersion

Shame, because sea traffic is a lot better then it was at launch when playing in free flight
