Nose pitch is always up at takeoff on Cessna 172
Does anyone know why my nose pitch is up when in fact it is not on the Cessna 172 Skyhawks g1000? Always lifting off the runway before it is supposed to, and in the air, the pitch is always up significantly. My trimmer is at 0%. This problem started about three weeks ago.

Double check under, Options, Assistance, Take Off Assist, is turned off. Just in case…
In my real life flight lessons on the 172, we actually had to apply nose down trim for take off to avoid the problem you described … in fact we would place the trim wheel just above the “e” on “take off” label - never used neutral trim for take off.

I don’t know about “0%” but the trim wheel has a take off setting. Set it to that and the plane will take off with no pitch control needed. I have noticed it will be a bit nose high resulting in a climbing speed of about 60. I think best climb is 75?
