Nice setup! Only thing I will say is the glue on industrial strength velcro tape can really mess up a surface. On the yoke it might strip away the rubberized texture or leave an unfixable glossy shine if removed - only ever matters if you ever intended to resell really. And that said, the Magic Eraser sponge works wonders!
I still just use the mouse holding down the right button to free look. Not as convenient but when I want to do drone look around I pretty much pre-plan it and have my Xbox controller on the ready to connect before launching MSFS. I have its profile set so that all the plane functions are unmapped so it won’t interfere with my flying and is only there for drone use
