I recently bought MFS2022 off Steam and I freed up a lot of storage on my C: Drive. Whenever I launch it, it says have do not have enough disk space.
If anyone has any ideas how to fix this please tell me.
Storage on C: Drive: 155GB
Not sure it is the problem but do you mean to be installing to the desktop?
You have exactly three options:
- delete something from your C:\ drive
- install on a different drive if available
- buy an additional drive
BTW: always install on a fast SSD if possible. Never on an external drive.

I have mine on a WD Blue ½ GB external on 3.1 USB. No problems!

SSD I presume? Right. That should work well also.
Tried that but transfer speeds were too low. Only had USB 3.0 though which is significantly slower than 3.1 or NVMe.
Still I would prefer my MSFS and System to run via NVMe
It’s a NVMe SSD yes. Very fast and reliable.

I was running out of space on my NVMe ssd C drive and my D drive is a spinning drive for general storage and apps that don’t require speed. I had an extra NVMe drive slot so I bought a 1 TB ssd for it and it’s dedicated to MSFS. They are reasonably priced in my opinion.
