I´m getting very slow loading of the Texture terrain. Never had this before. Started from PANC and the terrain looks like Minecraft … and loads in really slow …
Is there a problem with microsoft servers or what is going on? Anyone know of knoen bugs regarding this?
Nothing wrong with my connection, 1 gig down 1 gig up .. full speed.
Are you sure you’re using the online data. Check your settings and make sure your using Bing maps.
Yea, i checked that. Everything is on including Bing Map.
If you look 1 NM out from the airplane location all tiles are like Minecraft. Close to the aircraft it looks fine. During flight the tiles convert to high rez texture very slow.
When that happens, it’s typically a server issue. Active pause the sim and see if things fill in. If they do, servers. PANC and just about all of Alaska are very hard on the sim. I’ve noticed most places with mountains and snow are. Things will surely slow down there, but it shouldn’t be so bad it doesn’t load palatable scenery.
Ok, thats interesting to hear. I haven´t seen this issue before when flying in Alaska. But it was almost a year ago i flew from any airport in Alaska.

One quick question …
Would it help if i installed Orbx mesh for Alaska, -would that have any impact on this issue?
