Installing and using NVIDIA App / Filter causes CTD. I installed NVIDIA App, I got 4-8 CTDs per day. The simulator quit unexpectedly during flight or when loading. I got several graphical error messages.
After a week of use, I removed NVIDIA App, CTD decreased drastically. I can say that the 4-8 CTDs per day, after removing NVIDIA App, decreased to 1-2 CTDs per week.
I wasn’t getting CTD’s, but I was getting bad FPS and general sluggish responses, till I deleted the app and did a NVidia clean install w/o the app.
NVIDIA App works great here. What kind of graphics card do you have?
My card is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060. The last update installed the app but I found there were two drivers listed for update. One was prioritised for gamers and the other if you were going to use the card for graphics stuff, eg videos etc. I just updated with the gamer update and the other driver disappeared. I haven’t had any problems yet, but I may uninstall the app anyway as it is adding stuff I don’t use.
Deleted the app as well, everything is smoother

Have to throw my hat in the ring on this one as well. I deinstalled the app and yes, I am noticing a big difference. It wasn’t impacting just msfs in my case. Other titles were crashing and my system would randomly blue screen. Over the last 48 hours, I have had no issues. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the tip.
