MSI afterburner GPU default settings and Bios CPU default settings not working Few Hours GSOD Clock_Watchdog_Timeout try again help me

That driver crashes MSFS on my system after a few minutes, so I’ve reverted back to one from February.

If you have Realtek Audio drivers installed along with the NVIDIA HD Audio Driver then remove the NVIDIA Audio Drivers and it should fix this issue. I had this forever last year and my computer would just shut off at random times at idle. These drivers are not compatible with each other and cause fluky issues like this. I had the Clock_Watchdog_Timeout specifically

Don’t install the NVIDIA HD Audio Driver next time you update your video drivers either…

I hadn’t head this before, but it would make sense. I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the info :+1:

I hadn’t either and I searched for answers for months before coming across the problems with those drivers causing blue screens and random shutdowns. I run some other programs that I usually leave my PC running for days. I couldn’t do it before without it turning off sometime before 24 hours at idle. Sometimes it would be 22 hrs and others 2 hours. Now my machine can stay on all the time and it doesn’t shut off or blue screen after getting rid of that nvidia audio driver
