Will try asap and report

Let us know. I doubt it will help the SU14 performance issues/stutters, but would love to know!!

Hm. Again NO fixes for FS2020, so no need to install

The only time there are game specific fixes are when there is an actual issue between the game and the nVidia drivers.

That doesn’t mean that there aren’t other underlying changes that can have a potential impact (positive or negative) on other supporting layers that are used within MSFS.

It would a good idea that we don´t see drivers as reason for the issues in game in the official replies to users bug reports or in the guidelines proposed by support if there are no actual issues being detected or being already addressed by devs to Nvidia for any specific driver version. We all know drivers can have an inpact and we saw some examples during the past years, sure, but those things just create confussion and at the end don´t solve the original error unless there´s such an error.

From users perspective, at least in my opinion, we don´t really care about what causes the issues unless any action is needed on user side (e.g: uninstall any specific driver version). All we want is that issues are solved by whoever has to do that, being that one Nvidia or MS/Asobo.

This is just a suggestion, don´t get me wrong please

Cheers

All fine here.

  • 4090
  • 4K
  • Not HDR
  • AntiAliasing DLSS
  • DLSSMode DLAA
  • No tweaks in nVidia CP

I am still running in DX11 but that is due to certain aircraft.

this driver is a good one for me!

Tested this new driver with:

  • RTX 4090
  • Ryzen 9 7950x3D
  • 64GB ram

Dx11 no DLSS

All good so far not better but more important not worst

did you just install the new driver over it or do you use DDU with every new driver…thanks for your feedback. :slightly_smiling_face:

I do not perform a DDU uninstall before installing the new driver but I do a clean install directly from the new installer

thank you, that’s exactly my procedure when I install a new driver, I wonder why a DDU is useful every time and because many users recommend it…?

Honestly, in most normal cases it is not required.

Yes I would say the same. I would only do it with DDU if I encounter issues with the installed graphic drivers

This driver appears to be fine for me on a 3090 except for Nvidia GE Force Experience which now won’t save a colour temp on a game filter. It saves other things like tint colour & intensity but not temperature which it always loses after every game reboot.
