Do you really see a difference between ultra low latency in the driver on and off in MSFS using FG? This is still a mistery to me, whether or not selecting this option in the driver…
I have it off in the driver and on (via frame gen) in the sim. My experience is that it didn’t seem to really increase the FPS numbers, rather, they became more consistent. If you look at the dev mode FPS counters, my display remained green with the very occasional red flicker, as opposed to a seizure-inducing green/red strobe. MainThread times between 10-11 ms, limited by MainThread.
The video I watched (2020 fs’ers channel) said (and I’ve read it elsewhere), that Low Latency mode in the driver is a different mechanism than Reflex, suggesting you should pick the driver or the sim, but not both?
That is the question. If I remember correctly, I also have my settings from some source online (can’t remember sadly) and there it was suggested to turn it on in the driver. But it might be that it was from someone not using FG, this might explain it. I will try with off in the driver and see if this changes anything.
Better for 4090 than the goat driver 537.58?
I got bad results with the driver, every time I pan the camera in the cockpit I get stuttering
I don’t think thats because of the driver. Do you have DX12 enabled?
Yes, I have, with all previous drivers, no stuttering when turning the camera. This is the first driver to have this problem
A known problem with last SU14
After last Nvidia update I have no more DLSS option to choose from ANTI-ALIASING settings in the sim
Just magickly despaired! Also after last Nvidia driver all my Nvidia filters reset constantly. Whatever happened I don’t like it. Very strange.
You misunderstand me, I didn’t experience any stuttering with the old drivers even after su14, only with the new one.
As mentioned above, if you are using Frame Generation w/ DX12 in MSFS, there’s a known bug from SU14 that causes the camera to shutter/shake/stutter.
Zero update from MS/Asobo on this, unfortunately.
Then go back to your old driver… you can install older drivers via Nvidia.

Did I mention 536.67?
I notice this issue after installing some new scenery yesterday (usa modern cities vol1). Workaround that works for me in VR (with latest nvidia driver, dx12, hags disabled, and without frame gen since it’s not supported) is to go to msfs settings and change whatever msfs rear-projection option you are using (I normally use Depth), then save setting, and then change it back and save again. All smooth sailing after that, for me anyway.
Update; I ended up going back to dx11 and all my stuttering problems were gone. Hopefully one day dx12 and HAGS will work well for me with PCVR, lol!
I just got my 4070Ti Super on a new rig and installed MSFS and went to settings setup.. when I clicked on NVIDIA DLSS the entire screen flickered then crashed to black.. need to sort though it
You mean 536.67?
I was using 551.23 but have recently had a couple of BSOD’s after installing it, so I’ve rolled right back for now.
I was on 546.65 which seemed a lot more stable but I did get one BSOD on it.
Take your pick:

Good catch. I edited my post.
I blame Oldzheimer’s… ![]()
DX12 has worked flawlessly for me in all of 2023… with Frame Generation, it makes it even more buttery… until SU14 dropped, then Frame Generation got bugged. I know just fly TAA w/ no Frame Gen and it’s fine.
537.67 ? I didn’t find this driver! Wouldn’t it be 537.58 or 536.67? Could you please check? Thanks!
