Hi All
As most of my flying is done in VR with my Quest 3 headset, one thing I’m really confused on is what should be on, off or changed in the Global settings of the Nvidia control panel? or is everything best left at Default?
In the sim I use DLSS quality setting & Nvidia latency to On
I’m totally lost or probably don’t really understand what the Global settings should be set to to make my VR flying in MSFS2020 smoother or visually better.
Any help appreciated or pointed in right direction to some easy to follow/understand vids.

Leave it all at default. You don’t need anything in there.

With both my Q3 and QPro I use dlss/balanced with nvidia latency = off. When you set nvidia latency = on it basically sets your nvidia power setting to prefer max performance. So, if your set this already in NCP, I don’t think you need to turn it on in msfs. Also, I’ve found that having these both ON makes my flight sticks a little twitchy.
In general, leaving nvidia control panel global 3d setting at defaults will work fine imho.
Personally I set mine all defaults except;
Power = prefer max performance
Shader Cache = 10Gb
Texture Filtering - Quality = High Performance (few extra fps with same clarity)
Also, going to the Config Surround PhysX panel I select my GPU (rtx4090)
If you want to play around with nvidia msfs settings (separate game settings panel) you might want to try what I use;
Anisotropic Filtering = 16x (then turn this OFF in msfs graphics settings). This also changes a couple of settings below this (off/clamp).
Threaded Optimization = On
Nothing really game changing compared to leaving these all at defaults imho. Easy to try and switch back to defaults if necessary. Also, if you make changes to your nvidia control panel settings I always find it best to restart everything afterwards.
