If I turn it off and save the settings, next time I open settings it has switched on again. Is there another setting that forces Nvidia Low Latency mode to be stuck on in MSFS2020 VR? It wasn’t happening a week ago. I’m using TAA mode. Pimax Crystal (OG) with the latest version of Pimax Play. I read somewhere it has a negative effect on performance, and my VR is very choppy right now. I had it smooth about a week ago.
Maybe check your nvidia control panel 3d settings a turn Low Latency = off. I don’t use OpenXR but I think if you turn on Turbo mode this may also happen. Sorry, all I can think of right now.
You have to turn it off in the PC settings first. Changing it in the VR tab has no effect in my experience.
Thanks. I did check Nvidia CP and it was already off there. I also tried changing it in PC settings but that also didn’t work. I have solved it now. I found another post with the same issue and the suggestions were to make sure all Xbox services were set to automatic and not disabled or set to manual, and also to make sure the usercfg.opt file was not set to read only. Apart from this, another user had the same issue with a different game and they solved it by adjusting the usercfg file, which I also did. Since setting the Xbox services to automatic and manually setting the reflex low latency to 0 (off) for PC and VR in the usercfg.opt file it has stayed off.
