Hi again, I have been trying for weeks now and still can’t get my screen to change from the flat virtual screen to full VR. I have my quest 2 connected via the link usb-c cable, public test software on, have the latest beta testers software version 24, have the keyboard binders assigned to control+tab, have the regedit as stated to the following
C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\oculus_openxr_64.json
I have tried erasing everything over and starting again to no avail.
Also tried the steam software and the windows version XR and nothing. Due that it was recommended in this forum as an alternative.
The sim recognizes the head set, but it just won’t split the view so I can use full VR.
Even more strange is that on Dec 22 the day of the VR launch I was able to do 2 flights in full VR. I changed nothing and then since that same day I just can’t get to change to full VR.
Anyone has any new ideas? Please?
The truth is that once you try full VR is hard to go back
It’s just amazing.
Many thanks in advance
I just can’t get the full VR
You can check your device manager to look for issues with drivers. Also, if you have a onboard video card, make sure Oculus is using the right one… just disable the on-board video card on the device manager. This causes issues sometimes.
Just the flat round virtual screen, and when I press control + tab nothing happens. (It’s binded correctly to control + tab)
Even from the options, graphics, switch to Vr menu, nothing happens.
Off course. And it just won’t switch to full VR. Seems imam the only one here with the problem. Believe me I have tried everything and still nothing.
Thanks ! Any new idea?
Hi, yes, my oculus quest 2 works perfectly well with all other applications.
I downloaded today the beta v25 and also did a factory reset on the headset. Still I can only get to the flat virtual big screen. Can’t switch to Vr in any way or form, either by pressing CTR+tab or through the options switch to VR.
I can’t get the screen to split and get full VR.
