I had to leave right on time today unfortuantely, but here’s my few shots of some formation flying in a warbird.

SeedyL: “hopefully nobody has to leave right on the hour today”
Me:

No worries!

IceMan caught up to me again this week

And had to show off a little

Some F35’s getting ready to roll

And that’s it for me! Enjoy the flight all, safe landings all around

Another great Fly-In Friday in the books. Decided to dust off the Starship and was usually a little ahead of the group most of the flight but with stunning views like the ones below, who can complain?

Nice flight tody, Australia is one of my favorite places to fly in the sim.

Went with a real time flight. Pre-flight in the dark, takeoff in the pre-dawn light. As a Canberran it was nice to fly through my hometown.

Parliament house may not be a bridge but you can still fly under the flag pole. I also like that the circus was in town when they did the photogrammetry on Canberra airport.

A great flight once again. As I often do on faster-moving Flydays, I chose the perpetuum mobile (L-39). With real time and live weather, this event was perfect: a pre-dawn takeoff combined with a very large variety of conditions during the flight.

I crashed my plane in an experiment involving the Sydney Harbour Bridge. That’s why I changed to flying a chopper at the end. With this, I found out that the Opera House has a surprisingly good collision mesh. People inside the Opera House may perhaps not have liked the noise, but arriving there in a night-black, blade-slapping Huey does have some style.

@IceManDBB: I like those videos, especially that approach to the A400 flown by @RalfEDDK.

I took too many screenshots and had a hard time condensing the selection.

Any chance of getting a rotating time schedule on the community fly ins? I doubt many Ozzies were able to make it at 6am on Saturday morning haha. NZ/Aus flights in particular it would be nice if they were a bit later in the day.
