A fun community flight! The Caribbean look great in the sim

This was a good one, even though I somhow hit an invisible wall at full speed between the last 2 islands and got thrown around in my motion rig.

Also, I never tuched a runway this flight. Take offs, touch-n-gos and final landing was water.

Everyone lined up nicely:

Shortly after this I hit an invisble wall in the air at full speed and tumbled down, was able to start again though. Scared the sh*t out of me in the motion rig. :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

The detail just under the water was kinda fascinating.

A great Fly-In again, thanks everyone!

This was my very first time flying the Pilatus PC-12. That was, of course, a painfully stupid idea: to take a completely unfamiliar plane to Saba, of all places.

While I usually post a few screenshots, I’m unable to do so this time, because I unfortunately overran the runway in Saba, and crashed and burned and died.

Oh. Wait. That only happened in the sim. Thank heavens!

I like the PC-12 a lot. It’s like mix of a small airliner and a bush plane.

Special mention: @IceManDBB in that ridiculously beautiful bay. :sun_with_face:

Another fun fly-in Friday! I tried to fly the Starship today but had multiple issues right off the bat with it so I opted for the TBM 930 instead which was capable enough for me to catch up with the pack.

Thanks for the event, I really like it when we are visiting special places like Saba. I am pretty sure if it wasn’t for this event, I would have never visited that airport (or even know about it). Also shout-out to @SparrowJLT for being my wingman for a time, it was quite cool. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
