I could restart the bush trip, that issue fortunately avoided me. However the other one you mention..yes now it works correctly. But why did I say I wanna try a few more things - cuz my test is inconclusive due to the G1000 NXi update that came out just about that time (I did the update right about that time).
So I have zero clue if it is the 1000 NXi getting better and more polished or what.
Your G1000 avionics ? Native, WT legacy or the NXi ?

Have large blue squares on the left and the right side to change the predefined presets, much like the graphic settings have predefined and stable default presets.

Restart your PC.
Start the sim and let’s see let’s give it a try…

Make sure it is either native or the NXi - delete the WT legacy G1000.
Took a short flight tonight to test the fix with the night lighting with more than 100% rendering. Well everything is ok with the night lighting. But what I noticed were the red lights on the wind turbines. They disappear when you get closer to the wind turbines and reappear when you are further away from them. So if the wind turbines can be seen by themselves, they have no warning lights. I’m not sure whether this has to do with WU6 or whether the problem has existed for a long time, as I rarely fly in the evening or at night.
This patch is totally broken for me this time. 1.19.9. I usually have issues with being able to just click the update and have it go all the way through. So i always have to find the game in seach bar, then app settings and then RESET. Has always gone though with updates without issue this way. But now it wont work.
No mods installed. Yes game is in C: directory.
It gets stuck and repeats after having downloaded 1.1.197’s. @50% mark of the install. After it gets to this point, it starts to unpack, then resets the whole download all over again…
I havent a clue as to what to do, and there isn’t anyone to call. Someone help please.
I had some issues before WU6 also same issues now. Only happens 1 in 15 flights maybe less. Most times I get the ATC voice go funny then nothing. Like it disconnects from the cloud but never reconnected again.
As usual, another problem-free day of flying. KBOS to PHNL in the 78X(started around 3 AM CST) and PHNL to YSSY(55 min out) in the F-15. 8 LOD, maxed settings, and looking at 54 FPS using 79% of my 3090… The more I experience days like this on the sim, the more I think the issues are due to hardware and community folder conflicts. The sim runs great for me.
Exactly, yes there a few bugs in the sim, but most of these big issues everyone has is on their own end. I’ve never had 4/5 of the problems everyone else seems to have. And then everyone wonders why it doesn’t get fixed, well there’s nothing to fix on Asobos end.
So far I am having pretty good luck with the sim not crashing to desktop. I stopped saving and loading flight plans and just manually put in where I want to depart from and where I want to go with each flight. Knocking on wood but so far no more CTD’s.
I am using the G1000 Native. In your sim can you see 5 digits, like POI24? I can only see POI2
Please try and complete one Bush trip, like the Austria Tyrol from the first leg to the last (with this it will also show you the POI 5 digits) .and you dont do it in one sitting but say a few days and let me know how it goes. See if the POI Bearing (BRG) at the top of the display agrees with the HSI course pointer (CRS). The problem usually starts after completing a few legs. Again THANK YOU so much for taking the time to test this. I really appreciate it. Yes I founf the TRUE TO LIFE but I can’t see how this will affect the 5 digit problem or the others.
Since Update #6 I cannot even finish a flight in a Dreamliner anymore, heck, I can’t even climb to cruising altitude without the sim CTD on me, without any errors. Performance on the other hand is fine.
OK I have set the Assistance to TRUE TO LIFE and loaded the SWISS NORTHERN LAKES Bush trip. After I completed the 1st leg Ι went back to the MAIN MENU (not Copntinue) . Exit MSFS and then started it again. Loaded the same Bust Trip Leg 2 and as you can see from the photo no POI are shown in the Main panel of G1000 as well as no planned route line in the VFR map.
The loading of the game is very slow, loading an airport like EHAM is very slow too. This all happen after this update. The most annoying is, that freelook with the mouse does not work. I know it is a common bug, but come on, it is a basic need!
flying the FBW bus. During my turn into final I got a phone call. I pressed pause in the menu and escape to avoid continuing fuel consumption (only with pause fuel will be burned). After the phone call I clicked on RESUME. Nothing happened. … In earlier versions it was possible to return wuhile pressing a second time escape but this is not possible anymore.
