Excellent series to showcase the abilities of the sim! When you stop to think about it for a minute it is really incredible. Great job to replicate the original composition, framing, perspective etc.

Thank you! Yeah, so many comparisons in this thread are nearly indistinguishable from each other until you look really closely. My screenshots of the An-2 have a distinctive green tint and a lack in shadow contrast compared to my original photos, which is a bit of a tell, but many comparisons here are a dead ringer for the original. I can’t believe it myself, every time I fire up the sim.
We are truly blessed to have a sim like that at our disposal, along with truly talented aircraft devs, and we definitely complain a bit too much sometimes. Well, it’s because we care!

Regarding the green tint and shadow contrast, in case you have a nvdia card, did you try nvidia freestyle? If you play on VR like me, OpenXR toolkit companion is also a great solution to have more realistic tints. I typically remove some green and red, and add some blue, lower contrat a bit, and raise (lighten) shadows. This is a personal preference, focused on a more realistic terrain rendering.

That one only seems to work with the Steam version. I had no luck getting that to work with the MS Store version.
