[Official] Weekly Briefing Screenshot Challenge: High Pressure Landing

It’s time for another screenshot challenge! The idea is to collectively explore different parts of the world together - areas that may be very familiar to you or perhaps a new place you have never flown before. Feel free to find others to fly with to capture the challenge, or go solo!

This Week’s Challenge: High Pressure Landing

We recently came across an incredible video on social media of an aircraft instructor safely landing her aircraft during an emergency situation on Interstate 10 in Pensacola, Florida. This remarkable feat even saw the pilot fly underneath a sign gantry before touching down safely with no injuries!

This event inspired us to set you all the challenge to complete your own high pressure landing. Whether it’s a small aircraft strip surrounded by tall trees, or your own successful emergency landing, be creative!

Rules

  1. Any time of day
  2. Any type of weather
  3. Code of Conduct appropriate liveries (avoid licensed airline liveries if possible)
  4. Default aircraft and scenery, or aircraft and scenery from the MSFS Marketplace
  5. Up to 10 entries (screenshots) allowed
  6. Avoid heavy digital editing or use of filters. Minor editing and touch-ups are allowed.
  7. Any images that have been altered/enhanced by AI are not permitted.

The rest is fair game! Use your creativity! We will pick the top 11 shots. 1 will be featured as the main photo of the next weekly briefing, and the other 10 will be featured in the community section.

You may also add a watermark or username to your image if you wish.

How To Submit Your Screenshot

Just post them below here in this thread, or if you’re on X you can post your photo with the #MSFSchallenge hashtag. We’ve also introduced a new way of entering via the official MSFS Discord Server. A new thread will appear each week in the “IMAGES” category, where you can also submit your entries.

Note: For the week the challenge is active, this thread is for screenshot submissions and challenge clarification only. Casual conversation about image submissions is allowed after the weekly challenge has ended. Thank you!

High up, hard to see the airport? No problem.

The only high pressure landings (other than from a failure) are those that you choose to continue.
You can always go around, unless it’s a one way strip that is. That’s why the sim is so much fun!

Engine out landings are always the highest pressure landings.
