[Official] Weekly Dev Update Screenshot Challenge: Favorite Flier!

It’s time for another screenshot challenge! The idea is to collectively explore different parts of the world together - areas that may be very familiar to you or perhaps a new place you have never flown before. Feel free to find others to fly with to capture the challenge, or go solo!

Last week’s winner from Earth Day II: Parorng (Forums)

This Week’s Challenge: Favorite Flier!

If you had to pick one aircraft to fly for the rest of your simulating adventures, what would it be?

Show us in the form of some in-sim screenshots for this weeks Screenshot Challenge! We want to see which is your absolute favorite aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator and your best screenshot to accompany it.

If you have any screenshot challenge ideas for the future, send @Chewwy94 a DM!

Rules

  1. Any time of day
  2. Any type of weather
  3. Code of Conduct appropriate liveries
  4. Default aircraft and scenery, or aircraft and scenery from the MSFS Marketplace
  5. Up to 10 entries (screenshots) allowed

The OV-10 Bronco is my go-to aircraft if I had to pick just one. The Bronco is very special to me. Especially N408DF! I hung out at KGOO in Grass Valley, CA as a kid who had just became curious about aviation. A crew chief at the Air Attack base allowed me to sit in N408DF. This was the first small aircraft I had ever sat in! Thanks in part to the inspiration that the crew chief instilled into me it has helped lead me to the flying career that I have in aviation today!

Below N408DF watches over Grass Valley, CA with KGOO, Nevada County Airpark just above it.

Here’s N408DF with newly upgraded props at KGOO when I visited last November. It made me very happy to see she’s still going strong! Many childhood memories of watching it takeoff and land at the airport as well as seeing it fly over my house on its way to/from fires.

A very tough question, indeed. Being an adventure aviator, I am picking up my favourite bush aircraft: Daher Kodiak 100!
