Hi everyone,
It’s time for another screenshot challenge! The idea is to collectively explore different parts of the world together - areas that may be very familiar to you or perhaps a new place you have never flown before. Feel free to find others to fly with to capture the challenge, or go solo!
The Challenge
Island hopping: Capture a screenshot while hopping between islands of your choosing.
Rules
- Any time of day
- Any type of weather
- Default aircraft and liveries
- Shot should include an island
The rest is fair game! Feel free to submit as many as you want. Use your creativity! We will pick the top 11 screenshots. 1 will be featured as the main photo of the next dev update and the other 10 will be featured in the community section.
Suggestions
As an FYI, we will be flying around Kiribati Feb. 5th on our Official Twitch Stream for our weekly community fly-in before trying some landing challenges. If you haven’t found a good reason to join and fly with us yet, consider joining for that sweet sweet screenshot! All skill levels welcome.
How To Submit Your Screenshot
Just post them below here in this thread.
Thank you for participating and have fun!
Note: This thread is for screenshot submissions only. Unless you have a particular question about the challenge, please do not engage in casual conversation here. Thank you!

Outbound from my hometown, São Miguel Island in the Azores! You can see Sete Cidades lagoon in the middle. If you are a Rally fan, you probably recognize this lagoon as its known as one of the most beautiful rally stages in the world! Also in this island there is the only tee plantation in Europe!

This is Corvo Island, in the Azores. Its the second westernmost point of Europe, just behind Flores Island, that you can also see in the background.

Heading to São Jorge Island located on the Azores Archipelago. This is a very peculiar island, she is 55 KM long but only 7 km wide (in the widest point).

This is Santa Maria Island in the Azores. Santa Maria airport (LPAZ) was a principal hub in transatlantic travel until the end of the 20th century because of its strategic location, right in the middle of the atlantic with his 10.000 ft runway that is able to receive any kind of airplane. You probably don’t know but the Air France Concorde route from Paris to Caracas had this airport has a stop for refueling! Quite Awesome!
