[Official] Weekly Dev Update Screenshot Challenge: Let It Snow!

It’s time for another screenshot challenge! The idea is to collectively explore different parts of the world together - areas that may be very familiar to you or perhaps a new place you have never flown before. Feel free to find others to fly with to capture the challenge, or go solo!

Last week’s winner from Bright and Early: Takeru_Toys (X)

This Week’s Challenge: Let It Snow!

It’s the final Screenshot Challenge of 2025 as we take a small break over the holiday period, ready for 2026! To close out our competitions for 2025, we’ve set the theme of “Let It Snow”, where we want to see your very best in-sim screenshots whilst flying in winter conditions. Whether it be battling a snow storm on an ILS landing, taking in the view of snow covered mountains as you cruise high above, or maybe even heading up to Lapland to try and spot Santa Claus, be creative with your entries!

Please note: this Screenshot Challenge will run until January 8th, 2026, which will be our next Weekly Briefing post.

Rules

  1. Any time of day
  2. Any type of weather
  3. Code of Conduct appropriate liveries (avoid licensed airline liveries if possible)
  4. Default aircraft and scenery, or aircraft and scenery from the MSFS Marketplace
  5. Up to 10 entries (screenshots) allowed
  6. Avoid heavy digital editing or use of filters. Minor editing and touch-ups are allowed.

The rest is fair game! Use your creativity! We will pick the top 11 shots. 1 will be featured as the main photo of the next weekly briefing, and the other 10 will be featured in the community section.

You may also add a watermark or username to your image if you wish.

How To Submit Your Screenshot

Just post them below here in this thread, or if you’re on X you can post your photo with the #MSFSchallenge hashtag. We’re also introducing a new way of entering via the official MSFS Discord Server. A new thread will appear each week in the “IMAGES” category, where you can also submit your entries.

Note: For the week the challenge is active, this thread is for screenshot submissions and challenge clarification only. Casual conversation about image submissions is allowed after the weekly challenge has ended. Thank you!
