On-Screen Throttle Position Indication

My issue happens mainly with Boeing aircraft, but it could be applied across all aircraft. This is kind of difficult for me to explain and to title but I hope it makes sense.

On final, where one usually takes manual control of the aircraft, there is some difference between your hardware throttle control and the throttle in-sim (usually your hardware throttle is at 100% from take off and left there) so if you want to use manual throttle and/or when it comes to the point at which you would retard, there is a moment where there will be additional throttle added unnecessarily, potentially destabilising your approach or just making unnecessary micro adjustments to your aircraft at a key part of the decent procedure.

This is not as much of a problem on the A320 aircraft as you can see on the ECAM the current thrust applied and the thrust lever indication, meaning you can match the two up before disengaging the auto throttle. Nothing like this exists on the Boeings to my knowledge, I imagine due to the fact the levers physically move so in real life, when this is disengaged there is no requirement to move the levers as they are already in the correct position.

What I am proposing is, it would be great if there would be some way we could visualise our hardware throttle position relative to the current position in-sim, therefore we could make sure the two are matching up before disengaging the auto throttle and preventing making any unnecessary adjustments.

Something similar to this for X-Plane, I imagine, would work:
