Open track2.3 setup

has anyone set this up and mapped it out ? Could you post your setup for me to use.
thanks

What are you using it with as that will determine the mapping required which will also come down to personal preference. I use it with Trackhat so can share my config if that is of use.

We need to know what you are using it with. I use EDtracker - there’s a setup guide for that here:

just a camera(logitech)

just a logitech camera

You will need some kind of software to send into to OpenTrack from your camera. I have been playing around with AITrack for a few days - it will use your camera to recognize your face and head movements, then provide that data to OpenTrack. OpenTrack can then send that data to MSFS.

You can get AITrack here:

Here is the guide I followed to configure output from AITrack and the proper input on OpenTrack:

Here are the contents of the profile.ini file that I created when I was testing AItrack in Opentrack. If you create a new profile then edit it in a text editor you can replace it with the following and save. Not open it up in Opentrack and change your input device to the webcam you are using. You can use this as a starting point then refine your mapping to suit your own tastes.

thanks for all the input

Hello. I always used AITrack and Opentrack with my PS3 Eye cam with no problems. But now it does work anymore… There is no movement inside the sim, but outside the pink octopus in the Opentrack tool is moving perfectly. What is wrong here? Is it because the broken TrackIR since SU7? Thanks!

Opentrack has stopped working for me as well. SimConnect output seems to work, sort of, but it causes the zero XYZ position to be outside the aircraft and causes a weird shimmering effect on the scenery. Freetrack 2.0 does not work at all for me.
