I use the toolkit.
I reduced green to 43(since ground looks way to green and it lacks magenta), upped blue to 52 since sky is not blue, reduced red to 47.
Contrast at 52.
Reduced exposure to 45. Upped saturation some.
I keep those for all flights no matter what time of day.
I use a Reverb G2. For me (your preferences may vary) the default sim is way too saturated across all colors. I lower all, red and green more than blue. It’s not perfect, though, as the landscape will look much more natural, but your plane, if it has some deep reds, will look pink.
Let me know if you like this one. It will look different than the MSFS default colour profile, but your eyes will adapt to it within a minute. I cannot go back anymore.
I have a Reverb G1 and tried several settings by others plus did some experimentation myself, but I am not yet satisfied with the results.
I have a 3440x1440 hardware (Spyder) color-calibrated monitor and colors look really natural on this one. However, when I lift the Reverb a bit to compare the VR image to the screen image they just don’t fit. They never do. And there are so many parameters in the OXR TK that I’m lost where to begin with adjusting.
I am still thankful for any suggested configurations.
Ok, unfortunately I don’t have this model. I guess the Reverb G2 settings will not be a perfect fit. But maybe try the settings above and use them as a starting point.
Thnx for these settings. I’m using HPReverb G2. Been looking for settings for ages because the default colors in FS2020 are much too bright. Now everything looks natural and even the whole scenery shows much more details.
Thanks for these settings, I’ve played with them this weekend. I found the blue was too ramped up for my taste and dialled it down a little bit it’s definitely made for a better experience.
