Optica - Cannot remove chocks

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Load the Optica in a ramp in cold and dark. During the walkaround chocks are unselectable and do not highlight. They cannot be removed so Optica won’t move.

Every tie I load the Optica in cold & dark

I came in here to post this bug, see it’s already been found. This makes career mode missions with this plane unflyable. In free flight you can start from the runway as a workaround.

Is this intended behavior? I argue this is a bug, why do I have to find the perfect angle to remove the chocks?

I would answer - to a degree, yes, it is.
However saying that, this bug report states you cannot remove them, that is not so, as they can.

What you could do, is put in a BR stating that they are extremely difficult to remove.
You can reference my post if you would like.

I have the same problem. It looks like the click area for checking the tire is covering the click area for removing the chocks.

go nearly “over” the tire, as close to the wing as possible from the cockpit side, look straight to the ground, you will have some small spot to click on the chocks!

I am also having this issue on the Xbox Series X. No way to select the chocks to be removed for preflight.

i wish to report the same problem , i cannot remove the choks and i 'm forced to skip the step loosing almost 1000 credits at the end of the flight , plus i would like to request if possible to fix also the camera on this plane , when i center it thwe pilot will look a little too low and it’s annoying it would be best if it was centered a little higher

I don’t do Career Mode, so maybe this won’t work (does it let you use Developer Mode? Or is that ‘cheating?’)

The obtuse (but effective) way.

  1. Developer Mode ON
  2. Debug → Aircraft → Covers and Chocks

You can toggle them on/off there.
