As 2024 has developed, it’s noticeable that the sim requires a serious amount of memory to work as intended. Presumably, one of the most memory-intensive features of the sim is the AI Text-to-Speech, which synthesizes dialog for Career mode and for ATC in general.
An option to disable this feature can free up precious memory and CPU, which would be instrumental in avoiding WASM crashes, the entire reason why SU5 needed to return to beta for fixes. Please consider this, as it could help bring much needed stability to the sim on all platforms and alleviate game-breaking Career mode crashes. Thanks for the attention!
