Description of the issue: In order for my triple monitor system to function (i.e. line up) properly in external and showcase views, the camera zoom level needs to be a particular value. In cockpit view this value can be set as default, so when I reset the view after panning around or choosing ather views, the zoom is set back to the correct value for the monitors to match.
However, in External and Showcase camera modes, while the zoom can be altered temporarily to the desired value, there is no option to set a different default zoom, so when the view is reset, the zoom reverts to 50, requiring the zoom value to be corrected again, and on every launch of the simulator.
The lack of an option to set the default zoom for every camera mode is, I believe an omission that should be corrected, it’s difficult to think of a reason why not.
