…kind of when they go low, we go high?
In VR, with my G2 on a 3700X and RTX 2070 Super – whatever settings I use or compromise I make, the EFIS screens remain very hard to read. Even a medium long IFR flight thus makes my eyes feel strained pretty soon.
A trade-in of features and lower scenery quality for higher cockpit rendering seems currently impossible.
Now I do not know if the FS rendering engine allows for it, but anyway here is my wish:
Since for the sake of VR I am willing to sacrifice or turn down a lot of features like traffic, reflections, bloom, water waves, rain, high LOD, photogrammetry, you name them, sparing the engine from a lot of computations, shouldn’t I be rewarded with sharper and eye-friendly instruments? Couldn’t there be a slider to raise cockpit crispness for the user who is willing to balance it with lower scenery or feature settings?
