MSFS on my xbox went all wonky while I was flying around Sydney yesterday, it suddenly lost all online scenery, satellite images, photogrammetry, even the base map. All that was left was the locally installed 3d models, which are from the base sim, the WU, and in my case because I also have the Orbx Sydney cityscape installed.
I was able to grab some screenshots which show just how extensive the remodelling is on Sydney and its suburbs with the Orbx pack. A few of the assets in the CBD are Asobo and so is Kingsford Smith Int’l, but most of this comes from Orbx.
The cliffs on the southern coast from Sydney Harbour are remodelled too, which looks great close up. Sadly they didn’t remodel the northern coast to Manly beach, and as a result those cliffs look awful as they tend to do elsewhere in the sim.
