Orbx are releasing some updates via Orbx Central to EGLC London City Airport, Landmarks London City Pack for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Same updates have been submitted to Microsoft marketplace which should hopefully be approved early next week.

Reinstated the default POIs (Tower of London, Tower Bridge, The Shard, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, O2)
Dimmed the night textures to better match the default lighting
Fixed the height of the BT Tower
Added the Dartford Crossing Bridge
Added London and Wembley Stadiums
HMS Belfast orientated correct way
More work is being done to add higher definition assets and they have yet to fix bridge placements and areas where the Thames is not flat and are working with Asobo to rectify that.
Very happy the original assets are back, although Iām guessing now that means no PBR on the Shard? I donāt think any Asobo assets have PBR do they?..
Bought through the marketplace a few days ago (after Orbx released the update). Expected it to be the updated version, but was sadly disappointed.
And still no update.
If Iād known it was going to take FS2020 so long to catch up, I would have gone straight to Orbx to buy it. Iāll keep this in mind for future purchases.
As Microsoft have to first approve stuff from 3PD on the marketplace there will always be a delay however I would have thought that wouldnāt be any more than a day or two max.
However there are significant technical issues preventing any new or updated content at the moment. Until this gets fixed then weāll not see any updates. Orbx actually have three new titles to be released on the marketplace but the technical issues are preventing this from happening.
Can anyone who purchased the Orbx London City Landscape Addon through the Simulator marketplace, have been able to successfully update it to the fix that Orbx released for its missing Items. If so, what was the procedure??
It was an update that fixed missing landscapes from the addon, for those who puchased it through Orbx Central, the update works but for those who puchased it through the sim store there has been an issue which was hopefully to be fixed by now.
Sorry for the Marketplace, but Iām getting convinced that purchasing straight from Orbx Central and Contrail is the way to go for instant access to updates. Fired Orbx Central and found out that there are updates available for EGLC, EGNM, LOWW and KTIW.
Also read this yesterday referring to a recent update from Flightbeam: The update is available now for users who own Denver International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator and purchased it through the Flightbeam store (ā¦). For those who bought it via the Flight Simulator Marketplace, an update will be available soon. Flightbeam says "hopefully next weekā.
I also have the same situation - still on version 1.0 - decided to buy it as I knew there was a fix coming and I felt it did make London look more realistic overall (esp. from a distance). Hope it gets updated through the store soon. I may buy direct in the future.
thanks sneaky. already noticed the improvements made for the london city pack but the update process wasnāt as smooth as expected. it got stuck several times and had to delete and redownload the whole thing. as for EGLC the patch notes give me the confidence to buy it. perhaps the ORBX devs/staff should make an account on this forum and post patch/update notes here, if nothing else.
