The new bridge (Oeresund Bridge) in new greenland/nordic update has walls on the sides.
The bridge also has the road underneath too, which is worse than before the World Update. Just bizarre QA from MS and Asobo on these World Updates.
Such an important landmark. It should be done right.
So many areas of this sim are just done straight up this way, sloppy. It’s like they don’t care.
I don’t get it, when you hear people who have met these guys pretty much everyone says how passionate they are. But then there are bugs over bugs over bugs where you just have to question if any of them care or ever even fire up the sim. None of these little things break the sim, but as a whole it’s just so frustrating, especially because 90% of them won’t get fixed for years if ever.
I really wish they would just focus on polishing for a while, but we all know it’s too late as they gotta make deadlines for MSFS24. They are full steam ahead, and every update they break something new so then the entire beta cycle is a race against the clock to see how many of these new bugs they can fix, the rest remain, never to be spoken of or touched again. At least that’s what it seems like sometimes
MSFS is fantastic…but it could be so much more fantisticer if they hired a few folks with the sole task of fixing and polishing.
This would be OK if it wasn’t obvious from the air, but how did anyone in QA fly by this and give a seal of approval? Shouldn’t that be part of the process if MS is going through the expense and trouble of making World Updates?
I don’t get why the developers would want stuff that screams “this was mailed in” within an update that is promoted so much, both in real life and within the sim. It also would be another thing if this was a one-off mistake, but it’s a repeating pattern with World Updates.
On flyby I was also amazed to see a third level of the bridge on water level… wow???
I can only but agree that such implementation failure for such a significant Nordics landmark leaves some questions as to QA.
Let’s hope for a fix from Asobo side.
