Heading off from the town of Alice Springs, situated in the red centre of Australia, we fly along the West McDonnell Ranges, arriving eventually at the township of Yulara, situated just a stones throw from the iconic ULURU, the Aboriginal name given to the previously named Ayers Rock.

CONNELLAN Airport at “The Rock”
This air charter tour was one of the favorites with tourists from both overseas and within Australia. and also one of my favourite flights to conduct. This flight has been tailored from another similar route to better cater for those who have never been to the Australian Outback before. While staying in the general region, and still ending up at “The Rock”, I have chosen a number of different and interesting locations to visit along the way that will maybe better cater for those from the other side of the world to Australia.
Along the way you will be in awe of the vastness and the amazing desert colours, predominanty red and ochre, that will spread out before and below us as we make this 3 hour flight from “Alice” to “The Rock” (as they are colloquially termed). Interesting facts about the landscape and features will be provided, along with a few funny stories of events from these actual tours.
We will be in the Beechcraft King Air for this Air Safari as it is able to conquer the “Tyranny Of Distance” that is an ever constant challenge out in these parts of Australia.
