PA-28 Dakota Comms Frequency Dial Increasing by .025

Hi all,

I’m currently flying the Piper PA-28 Dakota and I’m struggling to tune the comms 1 and comms 2 to the required frequencies, as the dial increases by 0.025. This makes it impossible for me to tune to departure on 135.005. It’s either 135.000 or 135.025, there is no in-between. Since I’m using Say Intentions, I have to click on the frequency via the SI menu instead of manually tuning, which ruins all emersion.

Is there a way to fine tune the comms or am I stuck with the .025 increments?

Hi, I don’t have FS2024 yet but if the com radio is set on the GNS530 you should be able to change this in the settings of the GPS.
-bring up the AUX page group and select the setup page
-set the cursor on COM configuration and hit (on the GPS)
-set channel spacing to 25kHz and exit by holding the clear button
-repeat the same procedure but select 8.33kHz this time
-exit via clear button

It should work normally now.

Perfect! Thanks Frank.

I’m not very familiar with the GNS530-430 yet, so I wasn’t sure this was even possible.

Thanks again for the speedy response.

Hi, somewhere on this forum there are links to the manuals of the various GPS’s.

Found it. Here
