A bit of a specific wish but I’d appreciate an overhaul of the package system for development. As it stands now it’s time consuming and frustrating, especially when you have to restart after building a package to see texture changes in-game.
More generally, the process of building projects and packages seems way too convoluted. XML upon XML file, GUID requirements (why can’t FS generate GUIDs itself?), folders, file systems. It seems like the intentions are good, but the implementation as a whole became a haphazard mishmash of separate ideas.
