Palm trees really don’t grow in this area. The wooded areas look fine, but in the towns and populated areas, there are TONS of palm trees everywhere. It looks like just a quick region or biome fix would get rid of them.
Also it seems like the region is largely unaffected by seasonal changes, save for some odd coloring in the same areas in the spring time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
This is Rockingham North Carolina. The issue affects much of the surrounding areas. If you fly towards Albemarle you get the clear seasons back and no pine trees. I haven’t been too far in too many other directions just yet.
Oh ok. I figured. This is a known issue in the biome map that affects this area, where a single biome stretches from Washington to South Florida. It should be divided.
This presents a problem, as the biome combines two distinct weather patterns. Since each biome can only support one set type of trees, so a compromise must be made.
The options are:
Florida would feature deciduous and pine trees.
The upper region would have palm trees.
Asobo opted for the first solution.
To resolve the issue, it must be done manually, which is a lot of work.
I live in Florida and there are deciduous and a ton of pine trees here. Not sure I understand the two options you list. Are you saying it was either/or?
Well that’s a wacky design. This is in the orange zone… maybe it doesn’t need to run so far inland. Are folks also seeing palm trees up into western Kentucky? The map sure shows the orange going that far up
Yes. I used to live in Paducah Ky, about as far west as you can go, and there are palm trees at the Paducah airport. There are no palm trees in Kentucky in real life.
