It is a complete joke that this passenger missions crash at the gates bug has not been addressed and fixed
The primary mode of 2024 is a farce, there is no fix in beta either
I tried that, upon landing the flight would not close and keep asking me to climb. I was screwed again. I couldn’t cancel because the airport was IFR.
This is a crime that this is not fixed. I paid top dollar for best version and this is what I get, guess the joke is on me. Where are you at MSFS team? - Maybe in MSFS 3025
ES-30 was already known it was not working.
I have that plane, and the plane crashes and goes backward. Back then I tried 3 times, everytime repair etc.
I saw a post of somebody explaining how the ES-30 works, but you have to do a lot of and that’s not my thing. Failed B737 Mission for entering plane :: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 General Discussion

Just to share on what I gathered from msfs forums and reddit , in order to fly ES-30 successfully

Dont edit the EFB, dont change anything at all, otherwise will crashed on boarding with some damage sometimes.
-
Open the left door yourself, dont auto skip etc. otherwise might crash also. Auto skip is buggy for some planes, so far i encountered immediate nose dive or bug on take off, or you have crashed

When want to begin taxi to takeoff, turn off electric Engine 2 ,3 , let it stop its propeller spinning before moving your throttle from idle. IF you fail to turn off the engine and throttle up, you will go instantly backwards. With parking brake, your plane will move(fly up) and back (unrealistic but well , if you manage to pull back in time , you might be able to save your plane from gear damage or crashed). Just taxi with engine 1 and 4, then upon reaching runway, parking brake to on. Restart engine 2 and 3 and take off. The bug is when first time start in game when you board the plane, both 2,3 engines are in reverse state. if you throttle up , you will reverse immediately and crashed. So it is important to turn them off, wait for the props to stop , then only restart both engine 2, 3.

Wireless external power is your friend in this aircraft. In ES-30, you will run out of battery (high batt - engine 2 and 3, low batt is your avionics). Turn on external power for both low and high. For High, turn off all the batteries on the left side FC Bus 345. Right side group B 678 will run out of batt and for some reason will take group A electricity without draining them
. Engine 3 will shut off once group B battery exhausted, but just turn one one of Group A batteries and turn off one of Group B batteries to turn back on engine 3, then do the reverse, turn on the group B battery and turn off group A battery. Note on the engine 3 still running without powering down. Batt 8 powers/linked to engine 2, never turn off this batt
-
Throttle set back to IDLE will immediately set engines into reverse state, good for stopping(even better stopping distance than smaller plane lol), but not landing. when starting engine 2,3 make sure your throttles are not idle else you go backwards.

Dont put max sim time on autopilot, you will see the plane wobbling or electric engines cutoff sometimes and also your speed (sometimes due to engine 3 cutoff (repeat step 4 turn on and off the batteries, so far i encounter 2 times I need to redo the sequence, otherwise usually it will last indefinitely)
Have fun flying! flew around 12 missions on ES-30 now on different airports in Asia without any crashing and just bought my 2nd ES-30 while grinding for 737. though I wasted 8 mil in repair cost before figuring out all the bugs above."
Anyways, I have the ES-30, but I don’t fly it myself. So up to you if you wanna use it. I’m just gonna wait until they fixed it properly.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

• Seems all 737 missions are broken.

Yep, this happened to me with the ES30 over and over. I sold it and went on to VIP missions instead while waiting for Passenger Transport to get some critical bug fix attention. I got 1 mission out of 6 to work.
I really liked plane and how it needs to be managed for energy. It was fun, but the bugs in career mission took all the fun out of it.
This happened to me today on a VIP mission with my CJ4. I had just landed super soft, was braking normally to slow down and then got this exact crashed my plane error. SOOOOO FRUSTRATED.
Is there a solution for this annoying error? It’s impossible to play career vip missions because of this. It’s also happening on cargo missions now. For God’s sake

• i had the same problem too. It still happens, but I know a way around

• it sounds crazy, but all you have to do is before you get in the plane contact ground. Ask for pushback, wait for ATC to give you authorization to start. Engines, stop pushback, and you should be able to complete the mission as normal. After that, there still is a bug, though. After completing the mission, I always get 0%. Respect for aircraft for some reason, even on perfect flights.
