This has happened to me a few times now where I load up MSFS and am asked to sign in to my MS account. I try to and it tells me my password is incorrect. I keep my passwords saved in a password manager so I was fairly certain it was the correct password.
Anyways, I reset my password. This time making a note of saving the new one in the password manager. I log in to MSFS and play as normal.
Next time I open MSFS a few days later I am again asked to sign in to my MS account. I copy the password out of my password manager and it tells me it’s incorrect. I have to reset it…
Has anyone else experienced this?

It sounds like you need to update your store apps or steam credentials. If you are in the beta that includes the xbox insider hub.
Everything is up to date. I have the game through steam and was in the beta (non steam) before that. The problem is still persisting.
It sucks. I was also reading how someone’s MS account was banned due to too many password resets. I guess I’ll have to try and utilize what ever support options microsoft has, if any.
have you ever looked at the email address in the “reset password” area (maybe another one with .ru at the end ?) - had the same problem - my MS account was apparently recently hacked - You may need to restore your account !
It’s my email? Not sure what you mean, if it were incorrect obviously it wouldn’t go through. I have a gmail.com address as the main for the MS account.
I meant, to be on the safe side, log in to your MS account and check everything under security and activities - if something seems strange - change the password or set up 2 way authentication !
This has happened to me so many times. I know my password. I know it’s correct. Good stuff.
