PC-12 Career Mode - Overspeed Crash

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Aircraft Crashes without warning during descent even though no overspeed warning was given. IAS showed 208 kts at the time in clean config, well within the Vne range… I was descending from FL190 to 020 for my approach when this happened.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? YES

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Intermittently… first noticed while using increased sim rate, this time, it happened at sim rate 1 during descent.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load PC-12 Medium Cargo Mission, Use FL190 to destination
  2. during approach, descend rapidly >3K fpm , 210 kts IAS, but within Vne range
  3. No overspeed warning given… sometimes crashes without even the warning tape or alarms… Try and see if Exceeding Vne from the TAS display triggers the crash… Shouldn’t the FMS be aware that the TAS is getting close to Vne?

I can confirm this aircraft randomly has overspeed or unknown crashes that force a ‘back on track’ reload. Cruising at FL290 at M0.46 and out of nowhere boom crash and ‘back on track reload’. Has happened twice now on this mission. Once it spawned me facing the opposite direction and lowered me to 8000 feet where I had been at FL290 and headed north. Second time it respawned me right where the crash happened.

In both instances there was NO warning, no weather issues, no turbulence, no warning or error messages on the displays.

I think that when you really cruise at FL290, you suffer from the broken oxygen system described here: PC12 Pressurization/Oxygen System Broken

Yes. In my case it occurred while descending with autopilot and autothrust and with increased sim rate (x4 or x6). The aircraft produced an overspeed alarm while the IAS was within the tolerated range (~200 IAS), then crashed before I could intervene.
