If you move outside of the aircraft, you will see that the spoilers actually are activating, it is just the cockpit control that is not animated. I have not yet run a test to see if the drag factor gets applied, I have been meaning to do that, to determine if they are being applied through the flight model, but I do know that externally, they do animate.

Yep forgot about that thanks, I would say they are effective indeed, but the issue inside the cockpit remains a bug

i’ve used them as speedbrakes while bound to an axis on approach, and the plane did slow down, so i’d say they probably do work. the cosmetic lever in the cockpit not working doesn’t really worry me.

what is annoying is that when you (manually, because there’s no binding for it) arm the spoilers and land, the ground spoilers don’t deploy during rollout, which kind of defeats the purpose of spoilers (and makes trying to land on the 700m runways in Career Mode even more difficult).

Yeah I mean it’s doable without but let’s not forget that this game was sold for more than 200 € on its highest version, while mostly using resources from a game we also spent similar amounts on just 5 years ago.

It’s not some freeware open source software which deserves excuses, it’s the value of several AAA games, and it needs to be finished because so far, almost every simulation scenario comes to a halt on another bug, making it a very beautiful, yet useless software.

That’s why I’m spending time trying to report all bugs, doing the job of testers, with little hope let’s be honest. And that’s also why I’m not intereseted in workarounds.

I have the same problem with the Citation CJ4.
I try to bind axis 5+ and 5- to increase and decrease but it doesn’t do anything ( TM Hotas One )

• The lower pfd is showing airbracking. NOT the controller surface model.

Okay. The middle lower pfd is showing the airbracking being done. So while they’re fixing it (doubt it’s gonna be done soon tho’) you can prb use that.
