As the title says, my pc fully shuts off and restarts every time I click begin flight.
It started happening about 2 days ago and at the same time I noticed a sort of checker board look to the globe and scenery taking ages to load to a viewable state when planning free flight, as if I’m on a terrible internet connection. However, I am on the same speed internet as before when it was working perfectly.
Thought it may be a Hardware issue but I have 0 Crashes on other hard to run games.
The fans will spin up, display will go black then the PC will shut off. I have tried verifying game files in Xbox app.

NVidia’s latest graphics driver and app are causing many users problems including the hotfix for the latest driver. First try uninstalling the Nvidia app, reboot and see if that helps.
Next uninstall the Nvidia driver using Display Driver Uninstaller. Make sure you have downloaded Nvidia driver 566.14 and install it after running DDU. Then reboot.
This will eliminate driver 572.16 which could be causing your computer to reboot. I also suggest staying clear of the Nvidia App until Nvidia fixes it and the driver. Many users have reported problems here and elsewhere including Nvidia’s feedback on their own website that are playing various games and using various graphics cards.
I’ll definitely give that a try. I also downloaded msfs 2020 again last night but ended up deleting it as it was also crashing 100% of the time on the loading bar. I tried over 15 times and every time was a CTD so something is definitely up

nie działa reset na skrzyni PC.Muszę ręcznie wyłączyć od prądu i dopiero mogę ponownie włączyć PC.
I’m experiencing the same problem out of the blue since I upgraded from SU1 beta to SU1 final. I’ve never had problems so far with MSFS 2024. Yesterday out of 10 tries my PC rebooted 9 times just a few seconds after I press START FLIGHT.
It doesn’t depend on the aircraft, it happened also with the stock Cessna 172. I cleaned everything I could from the LocalState and LocalCache directories and rebuilt the Rolling Cache on a different location. Yesterday I unistalled the latest scenery I put in the Community folder, LGAV FlyTampa, which is not listed as FS 2024 comaptible so far, because when moving the complete Community folder somewhere else the flight starts. After I removed LGAV I was able to start two flights in a row with the Fenix (I even rebooted the PC between the two tries), but I’m still not convinced.
I didn’t consider the Nvidia App and drivers as a problem, because MSFS is the one and only piece of software which gives me problems on my PC. I would expect many more users reporting the problem if Nvidia app would be the culprit, but I’ll take it into consideration
