Brief description of the issue:
as a previous owner of the premium Deluxe Edition and having updated to Windows 11 22H2 this version was removed I think how was it due to the 40th anniversary version coming out, anyway the 40th anniversary edition is list is not listed on the MS store and unfortunately the update to the Xbox app isn’t very visible sitting there in the same green background as the app normal colours so I neglected to update the Xbox app and was and was getting the error code in the title of this thread.

After contacting MS support I would suggest that they talk to the Xbox or MS store support because all their solutions didn’t work until I saw a suggestion google to check that the MS store and the Xbox app were signed into the same user account. By coincidence I noticed that the the Xbox app needed an update which was sat there in the same green colours as the app itself so I hadn’t noticed it for a few weeks!
once I did the update to the Xbox app I was then able to see my upgrade from the standard premium Deluxe version to 40th anniversary premium Deluxe version and then that version appeared in the Xbox app where previously it only been visible in the MS store as a purchase but now I could instal it as it said that I owned it in the Xbox app too.
Finally to clarify it cannot be installed from the Xbox app in my case but at least it said I only so I just went back to the MS store and installed it from there.

In my opinion Asobo should refund every person who bought this game and can not play properly. MS Store is reaaaaaaally something absurd and only causes pain and waste of time.
Asobo, just give the money back or give a Steam key to play this “game” (game only it you are able to play, because I can not).
Don’t give me more absurd solutions that only makes me waste more time. Assume your responsability.
This is not just a bug, this is something that prevent people to play, and there is no solution at all, only more and more frustrations. More tries to find a solution = more waste of my time, and that is even more valuable that the money that you took from me (money in exchange for something that you doesn’t give me in return).
