I have the same issue, a lot of Stutters, microstutters and pauses in scenery add ons.
My sim ran smooth in SU7, now is a Stutter festival when landing, taxing or departing from most of scenery add ons.
LEBL (LVFR) is a hell when tring to land there.
Currently flying from KLAX to KDCA⦠2 hours flying stutter free, running very smooth at 35-40 FPS⦠after 2 hours FPS dropped to 20 and below and currently averaging 17 with sudden bumps up to 30~. Only reason I can see is maybe the live weather added some clouds along the route? CPU running at 60-70 degrees, GPU running at about 68 degrees. Bandwidth set to 100% PG turned on and I thought I had Rolling Cache set to 32 but I just checked and it is off. Not sure how or when that happened but sim was running amazing for 2 hours, in fact I was going to screenshot my exact settings and post in here to see if it would help anyone, but now Iām back to looking for help lol I can post more settings screenshots if needed.

I have the same issue and I even reinstalled the whole game last night just in case that could fix it. Nope, the stutters are there. I also have:
FBW
Navigraph
Toolbar Pushback (Updated)
My system is pretty good and I invested a lot on it. So hopefully Asobo/MSFT fix this issue (I9-12900KF, 3090 RTX, 64 GB DDR5 4400 Mhz, 500/500mb bandiwdth, etc.)
Nope, I only use the last daily update of experimental. I will test with dev version this afternoon to see what happens . I will report later. Thanks for the tip.
Everytime simulator opens, it starts one task what can cause stutters,āgamebar presence writerā. If you donāt use gamebar, this is useless. So next time when you open sim, go to task manager and end gamebar presence writer. This may reduce stuttering. This wonāt help everybody, but still worth to try.
Since SU8 my simulator shows a white spinning circle causing abrupt FPS drops and consequent stutters.
This defect appears on takeoffs, landings and eventually during flight. Both in 2D and VR.
I tried with different parameters both in game and Nvidia control panel and even in the same Windows settings.
I tried to install the simulator from scratch (180 GB). None of this solved the problem.
I was advised to immediately turn developer mode on and off at the start of each flight and this effectively prevents the circle from appearing.
The drawback, apart from the inconvenience, is that the flight is not recorded correctly in the book.
I see in other threads users with the same problem and all linked to the white rotating circle.
And I repeat, this appears with SU8, the simulator was working fine before that.
Any idea what might be causing this problem?
(My Solution (in german) with the developer mode and no don,t know why but i think something with the gpu)
ALL OF YOU, We need to share and share and share this problem anotherwise Asobo will not fix it, I am sure, you know why cause not everyone have this problem)
I had a flight last night where the framerate became untenable, the only thing I changed was the new pushback plug-in. I am going to try removing it tonight and see if that helps. This was the first time its been that bad in several SUās and the pushback plug-in is the only thing Iāve changed since the update.
I urge you all to try rolling back your NVIDIA driver. I rolled mine back to version 497.29 and was still seeing 40+ FPS 4 hours into a flight last night
Pushback Toolbar causes stutters and CTDs for me it seems like. Everytime I have it I get a CTD somewhere along but when I delete it I donāt have CTDs! The stutters are a whole different story! SU7 after hotfix was the smoothest for me! SU8 broke it for me as far as the stutters go.
PC VER. Update 8 has added another nail in my MSFS coffin.
Frame rates were about 36 with A320neo now getting 27fps. with stuttering from start to finish of flight
Yupā¦Iām doneā¦so much for thatā¦it worked initially but after a long haul or pause overnight I have to restart the sim. Iāll return once this matter is fixed.
